BEgrid

EGI Connection

EGI.eu is an organisation being developed to coordinate the European Grid Infrastructure, based on the federation of individual National Grid Infrastructures (NGI), to support a multi-disciplinary user community.

BEgrid is the Belgian member of EGI.

EGEE Connection

Enabling Grids for E-sciencE (EGEE) is the European project that has deplyed grid computing for researchers in Europe and beyond.

BEgrid was connected to EGEE.

Connection to NLgrid

A bilateral agreement is made with NLgrid to mutually support VOs. NLgrid will support the BEgrid VO "beapps" and BEgrid will support a corresponding NLgrid VO.

This agreements doubles the available resources for the members of the VO beapps.
